The Cultural Wing of the Indian Embassy Abu Dhabi was established in December 2009 to foster and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and the United Arab Emirates and to promote cultural exchanges with the United Arab Emirates and its people.
The establishment of the Cultural Wing is an important initiative of the Government of India, in keeping with the high priority it attaches to its bilateral relations with the United Arab Emirates.
